Hi again
Found this by Antonio Machado, interesting.........
SU MUERTE, AGOSTO 1936
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Se le vio, caminando entre fusiles
por una calle larga,
salir al campo frío,
aún con estrellas, de la madrugada.
Mataron a Federico
cuando la luz asomaba.
El pelotón de verdugos
no osó mirarle a la cara.
Todos cerraron los ojos;
rezaron: ¡Ni Dios te salva!
Muerto cayó Federico
sangre en la frente y plomo en las entrañas
Que fué en Granada el crimen,
sabed, !pobre Granada!, en su Granada.

Hola
Sorry it's been a while, been a bit rushed off my feet. Marcos' world is cool though.
Chalkie I understand your having problems posting to the blog. I have sent you an email, when we speak later today hopefully we will be able to resolve it.
Pete how does May 05 sound for Lorca? That's when the Chocolate Factory's new season starts. Saw Tito this week he worked on a production about Lorca's life a few years ago, he is bringing me the script they used for us to have a gander at.
I would like to get a bit Quixotic with this thing, musically that is, introducing takes of the songs, played through intensely in compas maybe por Solea or Buleria. Using the real flamenco edge, then playing it straight and slightly western. Tito gets it. He is waiting from his ADSL to go live. He will be joining the Tertulia very soon.
Gonna hit the hay speak to you both soon. We need to arrange an afternoon I have the 26th in my diary it's good for me if it's good for you bell me. Also Pete explain Languedoc to me again!
